Guides for putting on new LCD frame and side panels on the Sidekick LX are up. This also applies to you if you lcd glass is scratched or cracked.

You can buy these all together as a kit on ebay. Even it you buttons are missing or broken, you can just do these to change the colors. The kits include the button side panels and a lcd frame. They come in yellow, blue, purple, red and brown.

Is Your Sidekick 3 LCD screen white? Sidekick II screen white? Sidekick ID screen white?
I just put up a procedure that may be able to help you out. I have used it successfully on a Sidekick ID, a sidekick II and a Sidekick 3. No guarantees, but it is good to try before you replace the LCD assy.

As requested, a repair guide to replace just the sidekick 3 lcd screen. This is great for people with limited edition sidekicks as finding whole lcd assemblies for these is very difficult.

First guide is up! It is for replacement of the Sidekick 3 LCD flip screen. I am also working on one for just the LCD itself. Lets's just say it is a lot easier to just replace the whole flip screen!
