Broken Sidekick LX USB / Charging Port Repair

Has your Sidekick LX usb port got broken?  Can you not charge your  T-mobile Sidekick LX ?  This seems to be a problem more and more for people.

I don't have a guide on how to replace this yet.  It involves Desoldering the old one and soldering the new one on. 

So what can you do? 

Right now, a repair service is your best option.

The best place that I know of  CellularDr.  On the page that the links take you there is a charging port repair.  It is 39 dollars and the usb port is 38 dollars.

Your phone should be under warranty still.  Is the damage from being dropped?  Water?  Or just general use?

Remember to use your warranty if you can!
